At the TIMTOS 2025 trade show, Taiwan Excellence made a strong statement by highlighting its home-grown innovations in smart manufacturing, sustainability, and cutting-edge technologies. The event brought together some of Taiwan’s top companies, including Chmer, Hiwin Mikrosystem, Honor Seiki, YCM, Hiwin, Accutex, Gifu, Campro, and Techman Robot. These companies collectively showcased Taiwan’s advancements in manufacturing and its commitment to sustainable solutions.
One of the standout products was the Chmer UA432L Linear-driven Wire-cut EDM, which boasts 48 patented technologies. This environmentally friendly and compact machine offers enhanced precision and efficiency, making it perfect for industries like electronics, automotive, and medical manufacturing.
Another notable product was Hiwin Mikrosystem’s APM Series Absolute Position Measurement System, which provides real-time monitoring. With its waterproof and dust-proof magnetic sensing technology, it ensures high accuracy and is widely used in sectors like semiconductor, panel, and precision machining.
Honor Seiki’s I VL-100CA Intelligent Vertical Lathe was also featured at the event. Designed for the aerospace industry, this machine integrates smart CNC technology, helping to reduce processing time and costs while significantly improving production efficiency.
The YCM T11 Green Smart Machine caught attention with its AI-powered smart control technology, which balances energy savings with high-efficiency machining. It has earned Taiwan’s first ISO14955 international certification, further highlighting Taiwan’s dedication to sustainable practices in manufacturing.
The 30th edition of TIMTOS followed the theme “Integrate to Innovate,” focusing on three major areas: AI and Robotics, Future Manufacturing, and Energy-Saving Sustainability. As a major event in the global machine tool industry, TIMTOS provided Taiwan with an important platform to showcase its latest advancements and demonstrate its leadership in machine tool technology.
The Taiwan Excellence (TE) Awards, established in 1993 by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), recognizes Taiwan’s most innovative products. Each year, products undergo a rigorous selection process, judged on four main criteria: research and development, design, quality, and marketing, with a focus on being made in Taiwan.
The Taiwan Excellence mark has gained international recognition as a symbol of quality and innovation, highlighting Taiwan’s reputation for superior product design and technological advancement.
