Dixon Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Signify Innovations India to establish a 50:50 joint venture (JV) aimed at manufacturing lighting products and accessories. The agreement, which is still subject to final approvals and conditions, marks a significant step in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) business for both companies.
Signify Innovations, formerly known as Philips Lighting, is a global leader in lighting solutions. The new JV will handle some of Signify’s OEM orders in India and explore opportunities to manufacture lighting products for other brands as well. The collaboration aims to strengthen manufacturing capabilities in India and provide high-quality lighting solutions to the local market.
Atul B. Lall, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Dixon Technologies, highlighted the strong alignment between the two companies, emphasizing their shared commitment to quality, innovation, and customer-focused manufacturing. He added that Signify’s expertise in lighting technologies would significantly improve operational efficiency.
