Qlar, formerly known as Schenck Process, has unveiled a new Pulverizer Test Center in Bangalore, India. This state-of-the-art facility aims to drive sustainable and innovative grinding solutions for industries like cement, steel, energy, and minerals. Spanning 3,500 square feet, the center combines research, development, and large-scale testing capabilities, reinforcing Qlar’s leadership in intelligent grinding technologies.
The opening of this advanced test center strengthens Qlar’s technological capabilities and provides customers with a platform to test materials in real-world conditions. The center supports testing on various materials, including limestone, coal, petcoke, clinker, slag, bauxite, and talc. With an investment of €700,000, Qlar demonstrates its commitment to cutting-edge grinding technologies, featuring innovations in Advanced Vertical Roller Mills (AVRM) and Rotary Roller Mills (RRM). These mills are designed for maximum efficiency and performance across different industrial needs.
Qlar is leading the integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence into grinding technologies. The facility is equipped with the CONiQ Monitor, which enables real-time monitoring of processes, predictive maintenance, and data-driven optimization. Rajesh Pathak, Managing Director of Qlar India, emphasized that the center allows customers to perform detailed performance analyses, helping them enhance system reliability and make better decisions regarding new grinding technologies.
Additionally, the test center serves as a hub for collaboration with academic institutions and research organizations, pushing the boundaries of material studies and setting new industry standards.
