SJVN Ltd, a state-owned power company, announced that the first phase of its 1,000 MW Bikaner solar power project has begun commercial operations. The initial phase, which has a capacity of 241.77 MW, started supplying power on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the project.
The full 1,000 MW capacity of the solar project is expected to be fully operational by September 30, 2025. The company confirmed that the first phase achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on April 8.
