Plasmatreat GmbH, a leader in atmospheric pressure plasma technology for surface treatment, has announced the opening of a new office in Eindhoven. This move is part of the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the Benelux region, which includes Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. The new office will serve as a key point of contact for local customers, providing direct access to technical advice and support for application development.
The Eindhoven office is designed to offer modern facilities, reducing travel time for customers and enhancing service delivery. The company hopes this will further strengthen its global sales and service network in the region.
Experienced Leadership
Job van Galen has been appointed managing director of the new subsidiary. A graduate in Engineering Physics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (2017), van Galen brings over 11 years of experience in the industry. He previously held various technical and strategic roles at an international electrical equipment manufacturer, working with sectors including automotive, medical, semiconductor, consumer goods, and energy.
In his new position, van Galen will oversee technical sales, develop strong customer relationships, and drive application development. Customers will have the opportunity to test their applications on Plasmatreat’s advanced systems, collaborating with the company’s plasma experts to develop tailored solutions.
Customer-Centered Approach
Lukas Buske, managing director of Plasmatreat, emphasized the company’s commitment to customer proximity. “The opening of our Eindhoven office will bring us closer to our customers in the Benelux region. Job van Galen not only offers deep technical knowledge but also significant industry experience. We are confident that his expertise and customer-focused approach will drive our growth in this key region.”
Plasmatreat’s goal is to help companies in the Benelux region optimize their manufacturing processes. The company’s atmospheric pressure plasma technology allows for precise surface modifications, improving adhesion and offering environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical treatments.
A Versatile Technology
Van Galen highlighted the wide range of industries that can benefit from plasma surface treatment, noting its applications in automotive, aerospace, medical, electronics, packaging, and renewable energy. “Plasma technology opens up new possibilities for improving processes like bonding, coating, and 3D printing, making them more efficient, safer, and sustainable,” he said.
The new Eindhoven office will allow Plasmatreat to better support local customers by improving production processes and developing innovative solutions together.
Eindhoven: A Hub for Innovation
Eindhoven was chosen for the new office due to its central location within the Benelux region and its reputation as a hub for technology and innovation. The city is known for its strong industrial development and active research collaboration, making it an ideal environment for Plasmatreat’s expansion.
With this new office, Plasmatreat aims to deepen collaboration with customers, universities, and research institutes in the region. The company plans to accelerate application development and enhance technical support in the Benelux area.
