Lloyd, a brand owned by Havells India, announced a major boost in its air conditioner manufacturing capacity. The company has increased its annual output to 3 million units at its Ghiloth and Sri City plants. The expansion supports growing demand and reflects Lloyd’s push into the premium appliance segment.
The Ghiloth plant in Rajasthan has seen its production grow from 900,000 units to 1.5 million units per year. Meanwhile, capacity at the Sri City facility has also increased—from 1.12 million to 1.5 million units annually. The expansion required an investment of ₹50-60 crore.
Along with this update, Lloyd introduced its latest range of high-end air conditioners—the Lloyd Luxuria Collection. This new line aims to meet rising demand for stylish and advanced cooling solutions.
Yogesh Kumar Gupta, Executive Director at Havells India, said the company continues to lead with innovation. “Last year’s success in the premium segment gave us a strong foundation. The Luxuria collection builds on this by offering more thoughtful design and immersive comfort,” he said.
He added that the new models—StunnAir, Stellar, and Stylus—aim to redefine comfort in air conditioning. The expansion at Sri City reflects Lloyd’s belief in this vision and its focus on providing quality products with greater value.
Beyond air conditioners, Havells India has also expanded its luxury product range in other home appliance categories. These include refrigerators, LED TVs, and washing machines.
Rajesh Rathi, Sales Head and Executive Vice President at Havells India, spoke about the company’s approach to modern living. “Great appliances should offer more than performance.
