Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO), a global company known for its intelligent solar and energy management solutions, will present new developments in its residential and commercial products at Intersolar Europe from May 7 to 9. One of the key announcements is the launch of the Tigo GO Junction, a device that connects solar energy systems with smart home heating.
The GO Junction is part of the company’s EI Residential platform, which is designed to bring together solar generation, energy management, and now, home heating. This addition strengthens Tigo’s goal to provide a full energy solution for modern homes.
Germany has seen more than one million heat pumps installed in the last five years. That number could reach ten million by 2030, highlighting a growing need for clean energy to power heating systems. The Tigo GO Junction answers this demand by allowing third-party heat pumps to connect easily with Tigo’s Energy Intelligence platform. Just as the GO EV Charger links electric vehicles to the solar system, the GO Junction connects heating systems—reducing gas use and improving energy efficiency.
Georg Kreitmair, Managing Director of Weiss-Blau GmbH, a longtime Tigo installer in Germany, said the new product meets customer expectations.
“The EI Residential solution has always been reliable and easy to use,” Kreitmair explained. “Adding heat pump integration was the next step. Now, with the GO Junction, our customers get a complete setup where energy generation, storage, and usage all work together. It’s also easier to install and brings more value to homeowners.”
At the event, Tigo will showcase a full working setup of the EI Residential system, showing how it handles solar generation, battery storage, and system control. The display includes:
- TS4 Flex MLPE
- Single- and three-phase inverters
- Modular battery storage
- The EI Link, which brings together system wiring, communication, and backup power
Both the GO EV Charger and the new GO Junction will be featured, showing how Tigo supports today’s energy needs with smart, flexible solutions.
Mirko Bindi, Tigo’s Senior VP of Sales EMEA and Managing Director for Europe, said the GO Junction was developed based on installer feedback.
“This isn’t just a new product—it’s our answer to what installers told us they needed,” Bindi said. “We focus on real-world solutions that are easy to install and improve performance. That’s part of our Total Quality Solar approach, which drives quality from design to customer support.”
Visitors to the Tigo booth can also explore the TS4 Flex MLPE line, including the new TS4-X. This product supports high-output solar panels and offers optimization, rapid shutdown, and module-level monitoring in one compact design. Tigo’s Energy Intelligence software brings all the system components together, giving users detailed insights, real-time data, and performance diagnostics.
