Inox Wind Ltd has confirmed steady progress on a 990 MW turnkey wind energy project being developed for Purvah Green Private Ltd, a renewable energy company under the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.
This project is part of a larger 1,500 MW framework agreement signed between the two companies. Work is ongoing across multiple locations, including sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Inox Wind stated that it has already received all advance payments related to the project. The company plans to begin commissioning the project in phases starting in the financial year 2025–26.
“This is a significant order for us from a respected client,” said Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind. “We are executing the full 990 MW capacity at various sites, and phased commissioning will start in FY26. This strengthens our position in the wind energy sector and deepens our partnership with Purvah.”
Purvah Green is the renewable energy division of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. It is actively developing solar and wind projects across several states, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
Sandeep Kashyap, CEO of the group’s renewable energy business, emphasized the importance of the project in meeting their green energy goals. “This is a key part of our strategy to increase our renewable energy capacity. We are satisfied with the progress and confident that our collaboration with Inox Wind will support our growth in the green energy space,” he said.
