Ibrahim Mahama’s Major Donation Enhances Security and Infrastructure at Liberia’s Roberts International Airport

Ibrahim Mahama, the CEO of Engineers and Planners Limited and a prominent Ghanaian business figure, has made a significant donation to the Liberia Airport Authority. The generous contribution includes 20 police vehicles and three 1,200 KVA electricity generators, aiming to improve the efficiency and security of Roberts International Airport, Liberia’s main international gateway.

The presentation ceremony took place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Monrovia, with the presence of Liberian President Joseph Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Koung. The event underscored the importance of this substantial gift to the airport’s operations.

The addition of 20 police vehicles is expected to greatly enhance security measures at the airport, ensuring a safer environment for travelers and staff. Meanwhile, the powerful generators will provide a reliable electricity supply, which is critical for maintaining smooth and uninterrupted airport operations.

“This donation will significantly improve our airport’s functionality, ensuring traveler safety and comfort while advancing our infrastructure,” President Boakai stated.

Vice President Koung also commended the donation, highlighting the strong ties between Ghana and Liberia. “Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s kindness highlights the strong bond between our countries. We are deeply appreciative of his commitment to Liberia’s development,” Koung remarked.

In his address, Ibrahim Mahama expressed his commitment to supporting community development projects. “I am privileged to aid in Liberia’s advancement.
