Shares of TD Power Systems Ltd, a small-cap company that manufactures AC generators and electric motors, surged by 6.7% to Rs.434.15 per share during trading on Tuesday. This increase followed the company’s announcement of a revenue guidance revision, projecting a 27% rise for fiscal year 2025 compared to the previous year.

Share Price Movement

During the trading session, TD Power Systems’ stock reached an intra-day high of Rs.442.00, climbing from its previous close of Rs.414.35. Over the past five years, the stock has delivered impressive returns of more than 1,400%.

Details of the Announcement

The stock price spike came after management updated their revenue guidance during a conference call on November 5. They expressed strong confidence in the company’s growth, revising the topline revenue estimate to between Rs.1,250 crore and Rs.1,275 crore for FY25-26. This represents a 25-27% increase from the previous year. Furthermore, they expect margin growth to surpass sales growth by approximately 2-3%.

In the first half of the fiscal year, the company reported an order inflow of Rs.4.78 billion from direct and deemed exports. This figure is more than double the Rs.2.36 billion recorded last year, with exports making up 73% of the total order inflow.

Global Installation of Generators

TD Power Systems has achieved notable success in global installations, with a total of 6,690 generators deployed in various regions. This includes 245 in North America, 45 in Central America, 53 in South America, 942 in Europe (with Hungary being the latest addition), 4,963 in Asia, 280 in Africa, and 162 in Oceania.

Financial Performance

For the quarter ending September 2024, the company reported operational revenue of Rs.306 crore, an increase of 11% from Rs.274 crore in Q1 FY24. Net profits rose to Rs.41 crore, reflecting a 24% increase from Rs.33 crore during the same period.
