NV Energy crews began patrolling Mt. Charleston early Sunday morning and successfully restored power to all affected areas.
The restoration efforts began with the 57 customers on Angel Peak, who had been without power since the Public Safety Outage Management (PSOM) began on Friday night.
After restoring power to Angel Peak, crews disconnected the microgrid and generators that had been supplying power to most customers over the weekend. These customers were then reconnected to the permanent power grid.
As expected, customers experienced a brief outage during the transition. They had been notified in advance about this temporary disruption.
