NTPC, India’s leading power company, is set to establish a nuclear energy project in Bihar. This move is aimed at strengthening its non-fossil energy portfolio, according to the company’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Gurdeep Singh.
Speaking at the ‘Bihar Business Connect 2024’ summit on Thursday, Singh revealed that NTPC has formally requested the Bihar state government to provide a suitable land parcel for the nuclear project. This development is part of NTPC’s strategy to expand its clean energy initiatives.
