The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced a new initiative aimed at boosting energy resilience for businesses in the southern and eastern regions of the country. As part of the ‘Energy Resilience for Business’ program, 60 entrepreneurs will receive energy sets containing a charging station, generator, and power bank to help them maintain operations amid power shortages.
Entrepreneurs from the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions are eligible to apply for the program. To qualify, applicants must have continued operations in the last three months and should not show signs of bankruptcy.
The program is implemented through the Diia.Business network of entrepreneur support centers, with support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Office of Entrepreneurship and Export Development, and the USAID-funded ‘Strengthening Public Trust’ (UCBI) project.
