The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ram (IITRAM) Ahmedabad, in collaboration with CSST IIT Roorkee and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SVNIT Surat, successfully organized the 5th International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Infrastructure (ICRAM 2025) over the weekend.
The event saw an overwhelming response, with 245 research papers submitted from participants worldwide. Out of these, 148 papers were selected for oral presentations. The selected papers covered a diverse range of topics related to mechanical infrastructure, showcasing the latest advancements and innovations in the field.
Over the course of two days, the conference featured 28 planned sessions where researchers presented their work. In addition to the paper presentations, the event included eight keynote sessions. These sessions were led by distinguished academicians, renowned scientists, and defense personnel, who shared their insights and expertise on cutting-edge developments in mechanical engineering.
ICRAM 2025 provided a platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and explore future directions in mechanical infrastructure. The conference highlighted the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing complex engineering problems and driving technological progress.
