Nature’s Generator has launched its latest Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) models, the 30 Amp and 50 Amp, designed to provide homeowners with a reliable and seamless transition from utility power to backup generator power during outages. These new transfer switches automatically disconnect the home from the electric grid and connect it to a backup generator, reversing the process once utility power is restored.
With power outages becoming increasingly frequent due to aging infrastructure, rising electricity demand, and extreme weather events linked to climate change, the new ATS models aim to address the growing need for uninterrupted home power. Frequent power disruptions—whether from grid failures or intentional shut-offs during extreme weather conditions—pose significant risks, from personal inconvenience to potential life-threatening situations. An ATS offers a hassle-free solution by automating the process of switching to generator power, ensuring that homes remain powered even when homeowners are absent.
The 30 Amp ATS can manage up to 30 amps of power at 120V/240V, handling up to 16 electrical circuits. This provides essential coverage for critical household appliances. Meanwhile, the 50 Amp ATS supports up to 50 amps at 120V/240V, managing up to 24 circuits for a more comprehensive power solution, catering to the total needs of larger homes.
