Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) have launched a state-of-the-art HVAC Training Center at the DSEU campus in Delhi. The center aims to offer specialized skill development programs that will enhance the knowledge and abilities of students and technicians in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The launch follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in October 2024 between Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India and DSEU, marking the establishment of the new training center. As part of the collaboration, Johnson Controls-Hitachi has provided advanced HVAC units, equipment, and training materials, while DSEU has built the infrastructure needed to support high-quality learning.
The training center will offer students and technicians the chance to work on live projects and participate in internships, potentially leading to job opportunities with Johnson Controls-Hitachi or its network of partners.
Sanjay Sudhakaran, Managing Director of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India for India & South Asia, emphasized the importance of practical experience in skill development. “By providing students and technicians with advanced knowledge and hands-on training, we aim to contribute to India’s economic growth by developing a workforce ready to meet future challenges,” he said.
DSEU Vice Chancellor Professor (Dr) Ashok K Nagawat highlighted the value of the partnership, saying, “This collaboration strengthens our HVAC curriculum and enhances our ability to offer practical training, ensuring our students are ready for the job market.”
