Saelig Company, Inc. has launched the Siglent SSG6082A-V Vector Signal Generator, offering a frequency range from 9 kHz to 8 GHz. This advanced device supports various analog modulations, including AM, FM, and PM, as well as pulse modulation and pulse sequence generation capabilities.
Equipped with a 500 MHz bandwidth IQ baseband source, the SSG6082A-V can produce digitally modulated signals and communication protocol signals such as 5G NR, WLAN, LTE, Bluetooth, and IoT when paired with SigIQPro PC software. The signal generator boasts impressive 1 GHz broadband characteristics and strong ACPR performance, making it ideal for use in research and development, production, and other testing environments.
The SSG6082A-V features a signal level range from -140 dBm to 30 dBm, with an output frequency of up to 8 GHz and a resolution of 0.001 Hz. The phase noise is < -132 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz (offset 10 kHz typ.). The generator is capable of real-time output for various modulated signals, including QAM, FSK, ASK, PSK, and multi-tone. It can also play back waveform files and sequences and generate common communication protocol signals with the help of SigIQPro software.
Additionally, the SSG6082A-V supports real-time IQ baseband AWGN, providing precise control of signal and noise power for more accurate receiver measurements. It includes S-parameter compensation for amplitude frequency response and phase compensation in vector mode, optimizing the broadband characteristics of a test system. Remote control via the web is also available for added convenience.
The Siglent SSG6082A-V expands Siglent’s RF signal generator lineup, catering to embedded design, RF testing, and related fields. It is now available through Saelig Company, Inc., Siglent’s technical distributor.
