Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix have partnered with Paramount Pictures to launch a new Top Gun: Maverick arcade machine, featuring dual 65-inch displays and the ability to link multiple units for multiplayer gaming. The machine, which evokes the feel of SEGA’s Afterburner, sits on a motion cockpit designed to immerse players in the high-speed action.
The arcade machine features a realistic flight stick and throttle system, complete with RGB LED lighting. Players will navigate through intense gameplay, collecting power-ups like the Afterburner for extra speed, Heat-Seeking Missiles to lock onto enemies, and Multi-Missiles for maximum damage. The game includes iconic fighter jets such as the F-14 Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle, and F/A-18 Super Hornet, all set to a thrilling soundtrack.
While details about the machine’s release are still pending, fans are eager to see when this new arcade experience will hit gaming venues.
