Wolverhampton Electro Plating (WEP), a specialist in metal finishing, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Neil Donaldson as the new Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Manager. With over 25 years of experience in quality management roles, Donaldson will be responsible for reviewing WEP’s processes to ensure the highest standards across the business.
“I am excited to join WEP. The business is fascinating, and I’ve already learned a lot. My role will involve reviewing the process flow and finding new ways to meet the highest quality standards. I will also focus on introducing health and safety objectives, as well as conducting environmental audits to ensure WEP operates sustainably. There’s a great team here, and I’m looking forward to the challenge,” Donaldson said.
Donaldson’s background includes roles in the plastic packaging, automotive, and railway industries. He has worked with Tier One automotive suppliers and has successfully led businesses to achieve TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.
WEP, part of the Anochrome Group, works with major Tier One suppliers and OEMs in sectors including automotive, construction, rail, petrochemical, wind energy, highways, and commercial vehicles.
Denis Rainbird, WEP’s general manager, expressed his enthusiasm about Donaldson’s appointment, saying, “We are thrilled to have Neil on board. His extensive experience and proven ability to implement procedures that promote best practices will be invaluable to our team.”
