The ITM Industry Europe trade show, one of the key events in the manufacturing sector, will be held from June 3 to June 6, 2025, in Poznan, Poland. This well-established event serves as a major annual meeting point for industry leaders to discuss new technologies, share insights, and collaborate. The show will feature a variety of conferences, debates, and live demonstrations.
In addition to the main exhibition, several special thematic zones and activities will offer entertainment and valuable experiences for attendees. The event organizers are placing significant emphasis on these “special zones” this year. One key feature will be the FOCAST Foundry Exhibition, which will focus on the foundry industry. This zone will bring together industry experts and showcase new products and technological advancements. The foundry industry is crucial to Poland’s economy, providing high-quality metal components used in a variety of sectors. The FOCAST exhibition benefits from strong collaboration with the Polish Foundrymen’s Technical Association, ensuring its relevance and success.
Challenges in the Foundry Industry
The foundry industry in Poland is currently facing numerous challenges, including increasing competition from foreign foundries that offer lower production costs. Anna Lemańska-Kramer, director of ITM Industry Europe, noted that in response, Polish foundries must invest in cutting-edge technologies to stay competitive and improve operational efficiency.
Sustainability is another critical issue, with a growing need for environmentally friendly practices in the industry. Lemańska-Kramer added, “The increasing demand for high-quality metal components could drive the expansion of Polish foundries both domestically and internationally.” The ITM Industry Europe exhibition provides an excellent platform to foster new business opportunities and explore the latest innovations in the foundry sector.
On the first day of the event, June 3, a panel discussion titled “Foundry of the Future: Visions of the Development of the Polish Industry in the Context of Global Megatrends” will be held, featuring expert insights into the future of the industry.
Collaborative Robotics Zone Returns
The Collaborative Robot Zone, which debuted at last year’s event in partnership with Schmalz, will return this year. The zone will be bigger and more impressive, showcasing collaborative robots (cobots) that enhance work efficiency and safety in production environments. Companies such as Schmalz, Kuka, Universal Robots, Dobot/GM Automatyka, SAP-WELD/OTC, and TFM Robotics have already confirmed their participation in this exciting zone.
New Demobus Zone
A new addition to ITM Industry Europe 2025 will be the Demobus Zone. This unique promotional space will feature special vehicles located in St. Mark’s Square, the heart of the Poznań International Fair. Exhibitors in industrial automation, surface treatment, and tool technology sectors will showcase their latest products and technologies, offering direct interaction with attendees. Companies like Balluff, Murrelektronik, Struers, and Pferd are set to present in this innovative new format.
Exciting Competitions and Demonstrations
Exhibitors are also planning various competitions and demonstrations to engage visitors and provide a fun, interactive experience. For example, Mitutoyo will host the Metrology Competition Zone, where participants can test their measurement skills using the company’s MeasurLink software. Daily prizes will be awarded to the best performers, with an overall winner to be announced at the end of the event.
In addition, Mitutoyo will introduce a Racing Zone, where visitors can compete in a model car race on a specially prepared track. The competition promises to be a thrilling experience, with prizes for the top competitors.
Returning this year will be the Pneumat.GAME Zone, a crowd favorite from last year’s show. In the Pneumat.GAME Zone, participants will face a series of pneumatic challenges and have the chance to win prizes worth over PLN 50,000. Those with skills in pneumatic systems and the ability to work under pressure will have the opportunity to prove themselves in various tasks.
The event is expected to attract many visitors and industry professionals. ITM Industry Europe 2025 will run alongside the Modernlog Trade Fair of Logistics and Storage and the Subcontracting Industrial Cooperation Fair, giving attendees the chance to explore multiple sectors in one location.
With its mix of industry-specific exhibitions, innovative zones, and exciting competitions, ITM Industry Europe 2025 promises to be a must-attend event for professionals in the manufacturing and technology sectors.
