Numeros Motors, a leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has introduced its new multipurpose e-scooter, the Diplos Max, in Pune. This launch marks the company’s entry into the personal mobility market, offering a versatile solution for various uses through its flagship Diplos platform. The Diplos Max is priced at INR 1,13,399 ex-showroom in Pune and focuses on safety, reliability, and durability, making it ideal for customers looking for an adaptable and practical e-scooter.
This launch comes after Numeros Motors successfully completed India’s largest-ever pilot test, which covered more than 13.9 million kilometers. The Diplos range of e-scooters showed exceptional performance in terms of safety, reliability, and durability, even across diverse terrains, setting new standards for electric vehicles in India.
The Diplos platform boasts advanced engineering and design, offering a smooth, fully integrated user experience. It prioritizes safety with features like dual disc brakes, high-performance LED lighting, and advanced technology such as theft alerts, geofencing, and vehicle tracking, ensuring a secure ride. These innovations provide users with peace of mind and confidence during their journeys.
Beyond safety, the Diplos platform stands out for its reliability and durability. The e-scooter’s well-engineered chassis, battery, motor, and controller work together to maintain consistent performance. Numeros Motors is expanding its sales and service network to better serve customers across India. Currently, the company operates in 14 cities and plans to add at least 100 dealers across 50 cities by the end of FY 2026-27.
Founded in 2019 by Shreyas Shibulal, Numeros Motors is based in Bangalore and designs electric two-wheelers to cater to a variety of customer needs. Building on the success of its extensive pilot test, which covered 13.9 million kilometers, the Diplos platform is now live with seven variants available.
The company holds over 200 intellectual property rights in the mobility and utility sectors, with 113 granted. Numeros Motors operates out of a 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Narasapura, Bangalore, with an annual production capacity exceeding 70,000 units. With a skilled team of over 250 employees and a growing presence in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, Numeros Motors is rapidly becoming a major player in India’s electric vehicle market.
