EnergyAid, a fast-growing solar services company, has made a strategic move to strengthen its position in the solar industry. The company, known for ensuring smooth operations for homeowners whose original solar installers are no longer in business, is expanding its reach beyond California and Arizona. Starting April 1, EnergyAid will launch an exciting new “membership program.”
Acquisition of Sunworks and Solcius
This week, EnergyAid acquired the intellectual property (IP) of Sunworks and its subsidiary Solcius, following Sunworks’ Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing in February 2024. Sunworks, based in Provo, Utah, along with its three subsidiaries, went bankrupt, prompting EnergyAid’s decision to purchase their assets.
Nick Sherman, CEO and co-founder of EnergyAid, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, saying, “We are excited to announce the acquisition of Sunworks and Solcius assets, which will further strengthen our position in the renewable energy markets in California, Arizona, and Nevada. This move aligns with our goal of providing best-in-class service and establishes our leadership in solar repair and maintenance.”
The acquisition includes valuable customer data and monitoring sites, enabling EnergyAid to proactively monitor and maintain solar systems. This will help ensure optimal system performance and provide crucial data for ongoing improvements.
EnergyAid’s New Membership Program
In addition to the acquisition, EnergyAid will launch a membership program on April 1. The program will offer exclusive benefits such as proactive monitoring, remote troubleshooting, priority dispatch for services, and discounted pricing on repairs and maintenance. Members will also receive the latest industry updates and trends.
With this acquisition and the new membership program, EnergyAid is positioning itself for continued growth and enhanced service offerings. The company provides comprehensive services for homeowners, including system diagnostics and repairs, solar and battery monitoring, module cleaning and replacement, and detailed solar inspections.
This expansion marks a new chapter in EnergyAid’s efforts to become a leading name in solar system support and maintenance.
