TKIL Industries, formerly known as thyssenkrupp Industries India, has announced its expansion into the Bio-Chemicals sector. This move is part of the company’s broader strategy to diversify its business operations. In a significant step toward advancing clean energy solutions, TKIL Industries has formed a strategic partnership with KIS Group, a global leader in sustainable biofuel technology, to enhance the production of compressed biogas (CBG).
The collaboration is expected to support both India’s energy transition and global decarbonization efforts. By utilizing KIS Group’s cutting-edge CBG technology, TKIL Industries plans to increase production from byproducts like sugar plant residues, distillery waste, and other types of biomass. This initiative is part of the company’s larger goal to develop a comprehensive Bio-Chemicals portfolio.
This partnership marks a pivotal moment for TKIL Industries as it enters the clean energy sector, focusing on accelerating the commercialization of CBG. The company’s efforts align with India’s ambitious environmental targets, which include reducing carbon emissions by 50% and achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
