Houston, TX — Five individuals have been detained for allegedly stealing a generator that powers a railroad safety crossing in northeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD).
The incident occurred early Sunday morning at a crossing on Hirsch Road near Tidwell. HPD has shared photos of the arrest on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether charges have been filed against them.
