BGR Tech Ltd, a leader in oil and gas process equipment manufacturing and green hydrogen technology, has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Chemie Tech, a major EPC contractor, to work together on large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia projects worldwide. The agreement was signed by MK Saiyed, Chairman & Managing Director of Chemie Tech DMCC, and Priyadershini Raghupathy, Managing Director of BGR Tech Ltd. Shandar SM Zaidi, Director of Green Hydrogen & Ammonia at Chemie Tech, also attended the event.
Chemie Tech DMCC, along with its affiliates, is a global leader in project development and contracting in the oil, gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. With 25 years of experience across regions like the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia, and India, the company operates from its headquarters in Sharjah, UAE. It also has an engineering center in Vadodara, India, and a presence in 15 countries. Chemie Tech’s team of over 3,500 employees is known for its focus on health, safety, environment, and sustainability (HSSE), along with a strong emphasis on integrity, quality, and timely project delivery.
Under the partnership, BGR Tech Ltd will supply key green hydrogen generation and purification equipment, including electrolysers, and provide engineering expertise based on its manufacturing and technology integration experience. Chemie Tech will manage the overall project execution, covering all stages from concept to commissioning. This includes Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Final Investment Decision (FID) support, licensor agreements, design and engineering, supply and integration of Balance of Plant (BOP), as well as construction, erection, commissioning (EPC), and ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M).
The goal of the partnership is to accelerate the global adoption of green hydrogen by offering efficient, scalable solutions for industries seeking sustainable energy alternatives. With BGR Tech’s engineering strength and Chemie Tech’s expertise in large-scale project execution, the collaboration is set to help build sustainable infrastructure for green hydrogen and ammonia production worldwide.
