Indian Engineers Develop Affordable, Long-Lasting Wind Generator
Engineers from Avant Garde Innovations, an Indian company, have developed the Avatar wind generator, a device capable of providing clean energy for up to 20 years. Priced at just $1,100, this wind generator can produce between 3 to 5 kWh of eco-friendly electricity daily, according to Ecoticias.
The Avatar wind generator aims to address the issue of electricity scarcity in remote areas and regions with unreliable power supplies. Its portable and quiet design makes it suitable for residential and commercial use, as well as agricultural applications. With an average wind speed of 5.5 meters per second, the turbine can generate a maximum of 5 kWh of energy per day.
Avant Garde Innovations offers several models of the Avatar wind generator. The most basic model, priced at $1,100, generates 1 kWh, while the top-tier Avatar V model, costing $5,790, produces 5 kWh. According to the company’s founders, brothers Arun and Anup George, investing in this device is highly cost-effective, providing households with free electricity and operating quietly.
In 2022, the Avatar wind generator was recognized as one of the top 20 technical projects at the UN Innovation Summit, highlighting its potential to revolutionize energy accessibility and sustainability.
