KARACHI, Aug 06 (APP): In a significant breakthrough, the Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) Police have apprehended a suspected gang member involved in the robbery of freight vehicles, recovering a heavy generator in the process.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi, Tauheed Rehman, announced on Tuesday that the arrested individual and his accomplices had stolen a 30 KV generator, valued at millions of rupees, on July 27.
The gang, traveling by car, intercepted the vehicle transporting the generator, seized it at gunpoint, and subsequently abandoned the driver.
Utilizing advanced technical methods, the investigation led to the arrest of Sanaullah, son of Ali Murad. SSP Tauheed Rehman assured the public that the remaining three accomplices will be apprehended soon.
