PG&E Steps Up to Provide Generator for Shower Access in Fire-Stricken Cohasset

In response to the devastating Park Fire, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has stepped in to support the community of Cohasset with a critical resource. On August 6, PG&E responded to a request from the Cohasset Community Association by supplying a generator and fuel to power a mobile shower and toilet trailer donated by Butte County.

The trailer, which includes an ADA-compliant lift, requires more electrical power than what the local Cohasset Community Center can supply. This vital assistance comes as many homes in the area, while spared from the fire itself, have been left without water due to the destruction of well structures.

PG&E’s swift action ensures that residents affected by the fire now have access to essential sanitation facilities, offering a much-needed respite during this challenging time.
