Oshkosh Corporation, the parent company of JLG—one of the world’s leading manufacturers of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers—has finalized its acquisition of Ausa, a Spanish-based company known for its telehandlers, dumpers, and forklifts.

Ausa, headquartered near Barcelona, Spain, has built a reputation for its innovative and durable equipment. The acquisition, first announced in May, marks a significant step in Oshkosh’s strategic growth plan, strengthening JLG’s product range and global market presence.

In a statement, Oshkosh emphasized that the addition of Ausa will enhance JLG’s telehandler offerings while complementing its lineup of tracked dumpers and forklifts—capabilities bolstered by Oshkosh’s 2023 acquisition of Hinowa.

“Ausa’s culture of innovation and commitment to quality aligns perfectly with JLG’s values,” said Mahesh Narang, president of JLG. “Our shared dedication to safety, productivity, and sustainability ensures that we are well-positioned for the future. Together, we will continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers, combining our market leadership and complementary product lines to deliver comprehensive solutions.”

Narang added that the acquisition of Ausa, along with Hinowa, will help JLG expand its operational footprint globally and unlock new growth opportunities. By integrating these companies into the JLG brand, Oshkosh aims to create a stronger organization that can serve customers more effectively across the world.

This move is part of Oshkosh’s broader strategy to solidify its position as a global leader in the equipment manufacturing sector, expanding both its product capabilities and market reach.
