BorgWarner is set to showcase its latest advancements in sustainable commercial transportation technologies at IAA Transportation 2024, scheduled to take place in Hanover, Germany, from September 17 to 22, 2024.
A key highlight of the event will be the introduction of BorgWarner’s new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs for commercial vehicles, developed in partnership with FinDreams Batteries. The LFP battery packs represent a major advancement in enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of commercial vehicle operations, according to the company.
In addition, BorgWarner will unveil its latest DC fast charging station, designed to accommodate a power range from 120 kW to 360 kW. This new solution aims to meet the rapid charging needs of both public and commercial electric vehicle (EV) fleets.
The company will also present a comprehensive suite of advanced commercial vehicle technologies. These include innovative inverters, eMotors, high-efficiency turbochargers, and thermal management solutions such as battery coolers, 800V eFans, and exhaust recirculation systems. Each technology is engineered to improve vehicle efficiency and sustainability while addressing the evolving demands of the transportation sector.
