At the Data Centre World Asia 2024 event, Baudouin announced its forthcoming launch of a new line of diesel generator sets tailored specifically for the data center sector. These innovative, fully customizable models will be powered by the M33 and M55 series platforms, which are designed to deliver high performance, adaptability, and user-friendly operation.
Among the first offerings will be the 20M55 generator set, boasting a power output range of 4,250 to 5,250 kVA. This model features rapid power supply capabilities and is equipped with specifications that cater to the demanding requirements of contemporary data centers, ensuring uninterrupted operation and safeguarding against data loss.
Following the 20M55, Baudouin plans to introduce additional generator sets with outputs spanning from 2,000 to 5,250 kVA. Each unit will incorporate advanced intelligent control systems that facilitate real-time remote monitoring, diagnostics, and data logging. All models are compliant with Uptime Institute and TIA-942B standards for both Tier 3 and Tier 4 applications, and they can operate on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO EN15940).
Each generator set has undergone rigorous prototype testing and is produced at Baudouin’s specialized factory, adhering to ISO 8528-5 G3 performance class standards.
Comprehensive lifecycle support will be available through the company’s extensive global network, ensuring reliability and efficiency for data center operations.
