A new wind farm is under construction in Volodymyr district, Volyn Oblast. The project will feature 20 wind turbines.
Yurii Pohuliaiko, the Head of Volyn Oblast Military State Administration, confirmed the development. He highlighted the significant scale of the project, saying, “New powerful production facilities continue to be created in Volyn. I became convinced of this when I saw the scale of construction of the wind farm in Volodymyr district.”
The construction is being managed by Onur Group. Pohuliaiko explained that the project involves substantial investments in both the wind turbines and the necessary infrastructure, including roads for construction, maintenance, and operation.
In related news, the first wind farm in Ukraine, with a capacity of 1.8 MW, was launched in Zakarpattia Oblast.
