Neuman & Esser has significantly expanded its hydrogen generator plant in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The new facility is four times larger than the previous one, covering 37,673 square feet (3,500 m²). It is capable of producing up to 70 MW per year of containerized hydrogen generators.
The company plans to ramp up electrolyzer production by up to seven times its current capacity and increase its packaging capabilities for industrial gas compressors, including those for H2 and CO2.
Marcelo Veneroso, CEO of Neuman & Esser Brazil, commented, “We are prepared to expand as the low-carbon hydrogen market grows in Brazil and Latin America.” He added that the new plant’s capacity is just the beginning. The company’s strategy focuses on four key areas: manufacturing gas compressor units, grinding and classification systems for solid materials, hydrogen generators, and providing specialized services.
