The Edo State Broadcasting Service (EBS) has been provided with two new generators by the Edo State Government, following a commitment made by Governor Monday Okpebholo during his recent visit to the station.
Sulaiman Aledeh, Managing Director of EBS, expressed his appreciation for the governor’s support in a statement issued on Saturday. The new generators—150kVA and 135kVA models—are expected to resolve the longstanding power supply challenges faced by both the EBS radio and television stations.
Aledeh explained that the governor’s decision to provide the generators came after a thorough assessment of the station’s critical needs, with power supply being a top priority. He expressed gratitude for the gesture, which will enhance the station’s ability to operate smoothly and serve the public.
“This is a major step forward in addressing our power supply issues. We are grateful to Governor Okpebholo for his timely intervention,” Aledeh said.
