The Dacia Sandero has once again claimed the title of Europe’s best-selling car. To maintain its dominance, the brand is expanding its engine options. The latest addition is the Sandero Hybrid 140, a hybrid variant that combines a 1.6-liter combustion engine (90 hp) with an electric motor (50 hp), delivering a total of 140 horsepower.
This new hybrid model aligns the Sandero with other Dacia vehicles that already feature similar hybrid technology. Despite the added power, the Sandero Hybrid 140 retains the core qualities that have made the model a favorite: efficiency, sustainability, and affordability.
While Dacia has not yet announced an official release date for the hybrid version, industry insiders suggest it could debut as part of a mid-2025 refresh. This move is expected to further solidify the Sandero’s position as a top choice for European drivers.
