Hengan International Group, a leading Chinese tissue and hygiene products manufacturer, has successfully started operations of a state-of-the-art TADVISION tissue machine at its headquarters facility in Fujian, China. The machine, supplied by Italian company Toscotec, marks the second Through-Air-Drying (TAD) machine installed by Hengan, following the first unit launched at their Xiaogan mill in Hubei in 2023.
Hengan now operates the first two TAD machines in China, positioning itself as a pioneer in the production of premium-quality tissue products. The TADVISION technology has enabled Hengan to redefine high-end tissue standards in the Chinese market, offering products with superior bulk, softness, and absorbency compared to conventional and textured tissue.
Since its market debut in 2024, Hengan’s TAD tissue has set a new benchmark for quality, catering to the growing demand for luxury tissue products in China. The company’s innovative approach has strengthened its foothold in the high-end market segment.
