SWITCH Mobility Ltd, a part of the Hinduja Group, has unveiled its latest innovation, the SWITCH IeV8, an electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) designed for mid-mile logistics. Targeting the 7.2-ton vehicle category, the IeV8 combines sustainability with operational efficiency, aiming to transform India’s logistics industry.
The IeV8 is a robust addition to SWITCH Mobility’s eLCV lineup, offering high performance and durability for cargo transport. It features an advanced lithium battery that delivers a range of 250 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle’s flexible design provides up to 830 cubic feet of container space, making it suitable for a variety of logistics needs.
With a top speed of 80 km/h and fast-charging capabilities, the IeV8 ensures uninterrupted operations for businesses. It includes several driver-friendly features, such as Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) for smooth handling, an air-conditioned cabin, adjustable steering, and reclining seats, all designed to enhance comfort and ergonomics.
