Ralson Tyres, a leading global tyre manufacturer, has announced its entry into India’s commercial tyre market. The move aims to tap into the country’s rapidly expanding domestic demand for high-quality tyres. The launch was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, where the company introduced its premium range of commercial tyres.
Ralson Tyres operates a manufacturing facility in Indore, producing 60,000 tonnes of tyres annually. While the company has been a key player in international markets, exporting to over 50 countries across North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and West Asia, its latest focus is on strengthening its presence in India. This aligns with India’s goal to boost tyre exports to over $5 billion by 2030 and establish itself as one of the world’s top three tyre production hubs. Industry analysts project the Indian tyre market to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10% in the coming years.
Manjul Pahwa, Managing Director of Ralson Tyres, highlighted the benefits of the new product line for India’s transportation sector. “Our high-performance tyres are designed to enhance fuel efficiency and durability, addressing the evolving needs of the trucking industry,” he said. Pahwa added that the company’s success in international markets has provided valuable insights into developing tyres that meet global standards.
The newly launched commercial tyres feature advanced technology, offering improved traction, longer tread life, and reduced rolling resistance. These attributes are expected to lower operating costs for businesses while minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, the tyres come equipped with enhanced safety features and superior handling, making them suitable for demanding commercial applications across various industries.
To support its market entry, Ralson Tyres has established a robust sales and service network, with 43 offices spread across India. This infrastructure ensures widespread availability and reliable after-sales support for customers.
With this strategic expansion, Ralson Tyres aims to strengthen its foothold in India’s competitive tyre market while contributing to the country’s growing reputation as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
