Myanmar, February 8, 2025 – Solis, a global leader in renewable energy, has unveiled a groundbreaking off-grid Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Myanmar, marking a significant advancement in sustainable energy solutions. This innovative project reinforces Solis’ dedication to reducing reliance on traditional power sources by offering eco-friendly, cutting-edge energy alternatives.
The advanced system is designed to function autonomously, without dependence on the power grid or generators, delivering a reliable and sustainable energy solution for both homes and businesses. Thanks to collaborative efforts with PowerX, the system operates efficiently from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, even in challenging environments, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply throughout the day.

- PV Capacity: 450 kWp
- Inverter: Solis Hybrid 50kW x 6 (Total Capacity: 300 kW)
- Battery Storage: PowerX ESS 280Ah (Total Capacity: 668 kWh)
- Key Features: Smart ACDB (Changeover Switch & AC Output Supply), Special Power House with AC cooling
Eco-Friendly, Cost-Effective Design
The system is designed with a focus on sustainability and cost-efficiency, aiming to:
- Minimize grid charging to near-zero levels
- Eliminate reliance on generators
- Reduce environmental impact while ensuring peak energy efficiency
Additionally, the innovative Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) solution provides users with long-term savings, supporting Myanmar’s renewable energy transition. The seamless integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels and battery storage ensures continuous power without the need for external EPC services or generator backups.
