GreenLine Mobility Solutions, a subsidiary of the Essar Group, has unveiled ambitious plans to expand its Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure and fleet. The company aims to increase its LNG retail network from three outlets to ten by 2025. Additionally, it plans to double its fleet of LNG-powered trucks, targeting 1,000 vehicles by March 2025, up from the current 500-plus trucks.
To support this expansion, GreenLine’s subsidiary, Ultra Gas & Energy Ltd (UGEL), is working to establish more LNG fuelling stations. The company stated, “As GreenLine’s fleet grows, UGEL is accelerating efforts to expand its LNG fuelling network. By 2025, we aim to have 10 outlets operational, ensuring the necessary infrastructure to support our fleet while reducing emissions and cutting India’s reliance on diesel.”
Anand Mimani, CEO of GreenLine, highlighted the company’s focus on sustainability. He said, “By scaling up our LNG-powered truck fleet and expanding fuelling infrastructure across the country, we are actively reducing India’s carbon footprint and promoting a greener logistics sector.”
