Schaltbau, a global leader in direct current (DC) technology, is set to feature its cutting-edge Eddicy brand at Elecrama 2025, India’s leading trade show for the electrical and electronics sector. The event will take place from February 22-26, 2025, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Schaltbau will use this platform to showcase its growing influence in India’s energy and e-mobility industries.
At the exhibition, Schaltbau will introduce its C303 contactor series, designed for bidirectional DC applications. The C303 series is ideal for use in industries such as stationary charging infrastructure, battery test benches, non-IATF electric vehicles, and DC microgrids. With an ultra-low contact resistance of just over 100 µΩ, these contactors minimize power loss and improve thermal management. This leads to reduced contact warming and ensures enhanced reliability and longevity in demanding environments.
“Elecrama 2025 is a great opportunity for us to display our innovative solutions and deepen our relationships with customers and partners in India,” said Steffen Munz, CEO of Schaltbau GmbH Group.
India’s electric vehicle (EV) market is rapidly growing, with projections estimating a rise from USD 3.21 billion in 2022 to USD 113.99 billion by 2029. Schaltbau’s Eddicy brand is playing an active role in supporting this shift. Through local manufacturing in India, Eddicy helps to meet the country’s demand for high-quality electrical components while supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Ripunjay Parikh, Managing Director of Schaltbau India Pvt. Ltd., commented, “As the demand for advanced electrical components increases, our local manufacturing capabilities allow us to deliver high-performance solutions that align with India’s sustainable energy and e-mobility objectives.”
Elecrama is India’s largest standalone exhibition for the electrical industry, covering everything from power generation to distribution. Visit Eddicy at Booth #F10 in Hall 1A to discover the C303 bidirectional contactors and other next-generation DC solutions.
