Atul Greentech Private Limited, Valeo India, and Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID) have partnered to launch a new range of electric three-wheelers equipped with quick battery-swapping technology. The collaboration aims to improve the efficiency of electric vehicles by minimizing charging time, making EV adoption more practical for urban mobility.
By combining HEID’s advanced battery technology, Valeo’s compact powertrain, and Atul Greentech’s expertise in three-wheelers, the companies intend to create a sustainable and efficient transportation solution. This initiative is expected to boost EV adoption in India, cut emissions, and contribute to a cleaner environment.
The newly launched vehicles, MOBILI SWAP and ENERGIE SWAP, are designed for passenger and freight use. They offer a certified range of 79 km and 74 km per battery swap, respectively. These vehicles aim to reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency in urban transport.
The battery-swapping technology enables a quick exchange of depleted batteries with fully charged ones in just minutes. This feature enhances vehicle uptime, lowers maintenance costs, and improves fleet competitiveness. The collaboration underscores a commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions.
Vijay Kedia, Director of Atul Auto, emphasized the impact of swappable battery systems on the EV market. “These systems will eliminate long charging times, increase revenue, and address range concerns through a widespread swap station network. Since the battery remains company-owned, customers will benefit from lower vehicle costs and fewer warranty-related issues.”
Valeo, a leader in 48V systems, has introduced a fully integrated 48V electric powertrain system in India. This technology aims to make electrification more affordable for small vehicles, including two- and three-wheelers essential for first- and last-mile deliveries. The company offers a broad range of electric propulsion systems catering to both urban mobility and high-end vehicle segments.

Honda Power Pack Energy India is revolutionizing EV charging with its swappable battery system. HEID’s technology allows drivers to replace empty batteries with fully charged ones instantly, eliminating long charging delays. This innovation is expected to alleviate range anxiety and improve EV infrastructure, encouraging wider adoption of electric vehicles.
