Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. has teamed up with Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy. This collaboration is a key part of Bisleri’s ‘Greener Promise’ initiative aimed at boosting sustainability. As part of the project, up to 13.6 MW of solar power will be installed across six major Bisleri plants in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.

As part of the ‘Greener Promise,’ Bisleri has already installed rooftop solar panels that generate 2.5% of its energy from renewable sources. Additionally, the first phase of reducing the weight of PET bottles has cut down 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. Bisleri is also committed to sustainability through efforts such as plastic recycling, water conservation, and replenishing natural resources, all crucial elements of the ‘Greener Promise.’
