JSW Energy has announced the successful addition of 159 MW of wind power capacity in the March quarter, bringing its total operational power generation capacity to over 8,400 MW. This new wind power capacity will help meet the growing energy demand during the peak season, supporting the company’s contribution to a more sustainable energy supply.
According to JSW Energy, the 159 MW of wind power is part of the company’s greenfield projects and has brought its total wind energy capacity to 2,826 MW. This addition pushes the company’s total power generation capacity to 8,400 MW. The company is also focused on expanding its renewable energy portfolio, with ongoing construction of an additional 8.0 GW of power generation capacity.
