Ultraviolette to Launch 10 New Electric Two-Wheelers in Three Years

Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has announced plans to launch 10 new models in the next three years. The lineup will include electric scooters and long-range cruiser bikes. This expansion aims to strengthen the company’s market presence, according to CEO and Co-founder Narayan Subramaniam.

The company recently introduced its first electric scooter, the Tesseract, along with a lightweight electric motorcycle called Shockwave. Ultraviolette also plans to develop multi-terrain bikes as part of its growing product range.

Ultraviolette, which is backed by TVS Motor Co, will add a new model to its existing F series of performance bikes. It will also introduce two additional scooters under the S series, which includes the Tesseract. The L series will see two more lightweight bikes, including the Shockwave.

The Tesseract electric scooter will be priced at an introductory ₹1.2 lakh for the first 10,000 units. After this, its price will increase to ₹1.45 lakh. The Shockwave e-bike will initially be available at ₹1.49 lakh for the first 1,000 units, before rising to ₹1.75 lakh. Bookings for both models open immediately, with deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2026.

In addition, Ultraviolette plans to launch the X series, featuring three models, and two more products under the B series. The B series will focus on long-range cruiser motorcycles, while the X series will cater to multi-terrain riding needs.

The company aims to target various consumer segments through its new scooter models. It plans to develop adventure scooters, maxi scooters, and family-oriented models using its advanced platform.

“Years of research and vertical integration of technology have enabled us to scale across multiple product categories,” Subramaniam said. As part of its expansion, Ultraviolette plans to increase its sales to 1,000 units per month by mid-2025. The company also aims to expand its retail network from 12 to 30 cities within this year.
