Signify, a global leader in lighting solutions, has successfully provided solar and LED lighting to 55 villages in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its ‘HarGaon Roshan’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. The initiative has benefited over 70,000 people, promoting safety, supporting tourism, and encouraging socio-economic growth through sustainable lighting.
In partnership with the NGO Haritika, Signify installed 2,000 energy-efficient LED streetlights, 700 solar home lighting systems, and 100 solar streetlights across these tribal villages. These efforts are aimed at improving the safety of both residents and tourists.
